I love telling the story of how my wife and I met. I think it was very romantic and a bit unconventional. We had each been married twice before, I had broken up with my ex six months ago and she had broken off with her husband a year before all this happened. We were both members of a very popular internet dating site; they are the site that shows commercials all day long. I had signed up to start dating again after my break up and my wife had signed up as more of a dare from some friends of hers.

So one night as we are both logged into the site I notice her profile, she had a lovely picture of her on it and as soon as I saw it I knew I liked her. She was a beauty, long blond hair accentuated by dark highlights. She had the biggest smile I had ever seen and her eyes called my attention like no one before. I read her profile; I especially liked the fact that she was taking dance classes. I love salsa dancing and I thought it a great coincidence that she was learning how to dance salsa too.

What I did then was to send her a message. I told her a bit about myself and how I was on this internet dating site in hopes of finding a special woman. I also told her of my love of salsa and how it wouldbe great if Icould take her to my favorite club to practice.I sent the message off hoping that she would reply very soon. It took a few days but finally one evening when I got home the message was there.

She told me she was just on this internet dating site more for fun, that she really was not expecting anything serious to come of it. She did say though, that she would be happy to start communicating with me over the internet. She said she wasn't ready to meet but I knew I would wear her down slowly.

Sure enough 6 weeks later we had our first date. he minute I saw her in person I fell in love. Those big blue eyes and that gorgeous smile where even better in person than in pictures. It only took us 3 months of dating to get engaged and 6 months later married. I sent a letter to the internet dating site letting them know of our nuptials and now we are on of their success stories.
